Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced 1st Line Support/Helpdesk Technician. As first point of contact for users; whether they require support, guidance or diagnosis of simple technical problems, as well as escalation.
Responsibilities of the 1st Line Support/Helpdesk Technician will include:
- Providing application support (productivity tools and business applications) including incident & problem identification, analysis, diagnosis, and resolution or escalation when necessary. Supporting users across multiple sites using various tools including remote access, telephone, face to face and email
- New hardware and software installations, configurations and upgrades
- New starter setups and desk installs
- Identifying recurring and common incidents and actively contributing to the reduction of these with proactive solutions
Requirements of the 1st Line Support/Helpdesk Technician will include:
- Previous experience in a technical IT support environment and strong customer service skills to compliment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server technologies
- Willingness to learn and a keen interest in technology

The role will be fully office based and as such, candidates will need to be able to commute to Bristol on a daily basis. A driving licence will also be required as some visits to other sites may be required.
