The home of fried chicken in Shrewsbury! Bird and Beer is all about serving up proper fried chicken with mouth watering sauces, tasty sides and craft beers whilst having a damn good time doing it.
THE ROLE
· Our kitchen is at the heart of our restaurant, and we require dynamic, committed and enthusiastic people to join our team and ensure our all important customers receive the exceptional experience they deserve
· Reporting into our Head Chef, you will help ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils and crockery, as well as assisting with food preparation tasks. You will play a vital role in the launch of our takeaway and delivery service
· We’re looking for driven, dedicated individuals with a passion to succeed and for the eager amongst you, the ambition to progress within our independent, family run business. You must be able to work under pressure, communicate well and have the attitude to help us achieve our goals. Hygiene will be of huge importance to you & you should be able to adhere to our strict food safety policy
THE HOURS
· We're currently only open Wednesday to Sunday, ensuring all team members get a Monday and Tuesday off
· We’re able to offer a minimum of 37 hours, but this can be discussed at interview stage
THE PAY
· We’re offering a starting wage of £10.50 per hour
