Position Overview
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing partnerships to drive revenue growth and increase market share. The role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, understanding their needs and requirements, and ensuring that our products and services meet those needs.
The role required collaboration with the Partnership team and the Product team as well as with Marketing, IT, Operations and other supporting functions (within Cover-More, Zurich and partner teams) to ensure comprehensive oversight and management of key accounts to the highest standard
Qualifications and Training
- Proven account management experience
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding commercial targets and driving revenue growth through successful partnerships
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- First point of contact for the Company’s key Travel and Mobility Insurance partners. Management of their day to day queries, delivery of the joint business plan, management information and performance reporting as well as delivery of change and innovation
- Management of assigned partnerships to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned accounts, ensuring that their needs and requirements are understood and met.
- Work closely with partners to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to drive sales and to identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts
- Proactive development of long term partnerships leading renewal negotiations and ongoing strategic portfolio development
- Relationship governance including accurate and timely meeting minutes, regular meetings, action logs and adherence to deadlines
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, underwriting, marketing and customer service, to ensure that partner and their customers’ needs are met.
- Support the Business Delivery Manager, Europe with onboarding new Travel & Mobility partnerships, using the implementation to build relationships with the new partner for a smooth transition to account management
- Assist the Head of Partnerships, Europe and Business Development Manager Europe in delivering sales presentations
- Achieve and exceed agreed financial targets
- Provide ongoing account management and customer service support.
- Provide regular reports on partner performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the travel insurance and car hire excess insurance markets and keep up to date with industry developments and trends
