Job description
We have an opportunity for a Key Account manager to work for a global leading manufacturer for the automotive aftermarket.
The company is a world-leading original equipment automotive component manufacturer and distributor to many of the world's leading vehicle and industrial companies.
This role will focus on generating sales growth within the automotive and engine wholesale sectors and you will be responsible for growing and developing car component sales in the UK.
Ideally, you will be located in the central belt of the UK, however, consideration will be given to the right person who is based anywhere in the UK.
You will have the right commercial acumen to be able to identify profitable growth opportunities within buying groups, key accounts and independent opportunities within the UK.
Ideally, you will have experience and knowledge of the UK Buying Groups inc AAG, UAN, The Parts Alliance, RAPID, IFA, A1MS, PDP etc. You will have experience working in a field sales role and be prepared for the occasional night away or evening work whilst attending trade events.
You will be a confident communicator as you will be responsible for staff training at the motor factor level.
In return, the company will offer you a salary between £40K - £50K, a £10K bonus and a company car.
