About Us
Cotswold Tiger is a growing, family run company which celebrated its 5th birthday in April 2023.
The Cotswold Tiger Laundry forms an integral part of the business operations which centre around a successful property management service including a busy housekeeping arm. We are currently seeking new candidates throughout the company due to recent growth and if desirable, there is also opportunity to work flexibly across the business.
The aim of Cotswold Tiger is simple - to be the best at what we do and treat our Clients homes and laundry as if it were our own.
The Location
The Laundry is based on the beautiful Notgrove Estate, 5 minutes from Bourton-on-the-Water. Notgrove is a picturesque Cotswold village with a thriving community centred around a newly developed Community Cafe and Hub, a short walk from the laundry.
The Role and About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-person to undertake reception and administration duties across the Cotswold Tiger business.
The role is diverse and interesting. Responsibilities include:
- General laundry administration, invoicing and record keeping.
- Booking appointments and providing general support to the Property Management team.
- Dealing with customer queries, both face-to-face, over the phone and on e-mail.
- You will be trained to use our POS and accounting systems, although previous experience of such systems would be helpful.
- During busy periods you may also be required to assist with simple tasks within the laundry operations.
At times the laundry can be fast-paced and as part of a small team you will be expected to be pro-active and independent. We value new ideas and ways to improve our service and our ideal candidate is someone who wishes to share their thoughts to help us to keep improving and achieve our aim of being the best in our field.
Key skills required:
- Highly organised - you will thrive on tidy files and environments.
- A confident communicator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Flexible, can-do attitude and inquisitive mind.
The Hours
The laundry is open between 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. We do not open or work on weekends. Ideally we are looking for one person to fulfill the following shift pattern:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am-2pm
However, for the right candidate we are happy to be flexible on times and will consider alternative shifts as long as they are a minimum of 3 hours long and between the hours of 9am-4pm. There is also scope for longer hours or additional shifts.
