About Us
GG Care is a virtual elderly and dementia care companion powered by Alexa to support their everyday activities through Interactive Reminders (IR).
How GG Care Works
The carer schedules the time and frequency of the IR and adds a few hints to help the care recipient complete the task. When an IR is scheduled, GG Care's Alexa skill guides the care recipient w/ a series of questions, prompts and hints and prompts set by the carer.
GG Care won an Inclusive Innovation Award from Innovate UK to expand the delivery of the IRs to other platforms, including the phone and other voice assistant devices like Google Home.
Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Developer to take on this unique challenge, straddling many of the latest innovations and platforms. The ideal candidate will have an interest in:
- Elderly Care
- Voice Technology such as Amazon Alexa and IVR systems
- Mobile Applications
- Web Applications
- Conversation Design
- Analytics
- Be able to write clean, well-documented code.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively with other developers.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of software
- Develop our mobile/web application using FlutterFlow.
- Develop our Voice Application using VoiceFlow.
- Analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
Requirements
If you want to be paid, YOU MUST BE UK BASED!!! - GG Care is grant funded and can only hire in the UK!
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with API integrations.
- Experience with voice assistants.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies
- A collaborative and enthusiastic attitude
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Good communication skills
