Purpose of the role:
To work within a team focusing on reactive and proactive outreach to existing/prospective affluent customers in a bid to drive new business growth for the AJ Bell product. This is achieved through account consolidation, referrals, unfunded account conversions and retention. The role is partially sales-based and so building positive relationships with these customers is imperative. Initially, the role will involve building product knowledge and completing administrative work to support the existing team.
What does the job involve:
- Build positive relationships with existing/prospective customers.
- Outbound calling to existing and prospective customers in a bid to increase account consolidation and referrals.
- Soft selling – The customer is at the centre of everything we do so when positioning solutions, make sure it is suitable for the investment needs.
- Work alongside a team of 8 hungry individuals to identify new affluent opportunities and lead generation techniques to achieve the team AUA target.
- Manage leads effectively through Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
- Follow up on unfunded account cases each month to ensure conversions to funded accounts are maximised
- Respond to prospective customer enquiries that filter through via email and our ‘Contact Us’ page.
- Create tailored client solutions from a range of options to meet individual needs
- Attend and support AJ Bell at marketing events to engage with existing and prospective customers and promote the brand.
- Promote new product features and update customers on product developments.
- Engage and communication with key internal stakeholders to enable efficient operating processes and a positive customer experience.
- Assist with other key tasks such as retention, offers fulfilment and the set ups of IPOs and new issues
