Programme Area Manager. Creative Arts and Media. Part Time 18.5 Hours per Week. Permanent.


An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Creative Arts and Media Curriculum Area for an enthusiastic Part Time Programme Area Manager for Visual Arts. Within this role you will drive forward the Programme Area, introduce innovative ways of working, be creative and dynamic and be able to motivate and inspire and lead the team to deliver outstanding results.


You will support the Director of Creative and Performing Arts in the strategic development and management of learning programmes and other curriculum developments such as full cost and adult provision. You need to be passionate about teaching and learning, have a strong track record of effective performance management and quality improvement and have the ability to plan aspects of the curriculum effectively to ensure challenging targets are achieved. You will possess excellent leadership and communication skills and be responsive yet calm in a challenging educational environment.


The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in the vocational area, a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, demonstrate a good understanding of quality assurance and data management, and will have a background and substantial experience of working and teaching within the Visual Arts sector.
