Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in analysing software requirements for validity and feasibility
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Assist in planning & execution of all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression, and Performance & Load)
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Provide timely solutions in team meetings
- Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Software Development lifecycle
- Supports test lead in the identification of problem areas, suggesting, reviewing and implementing corrective actions
- Assist in documenting test results and defects
Knowledge and experience
- Experience in some or all of the following: manual testing, coding, exploratory testing, manual API Testing, Front and back end testing, Azure, Devops, Selenium Web driver, C#, SQL, Visual Studio IDE, source control tools, Postman, Git, HTML, CSS, DOM, DevOps, Agile, Scrum and Kanban
- Experience in using apps, games, websites, gadgets, and other systems
- Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Understanding of both defective and good software
- Experience in writing test cases and executing test runs
Salary: £24,000/yr - £26,000/yr
