Responsibility of the Role
- Maintain a high degree of internal and external technical service.
- Help to manage, develop and maintain the company’s infrastructure, e.g. Google Workspace, Ubiquity networking
- Provide front line/second line support to customers, staff and external partners (via Zendesk, social channels, App Stores, email, telephone enquiries, etc).
- Testing products/services and logging of technical issues; working with external developers and stakeholders to resolve such issues. Formats including, but not limited to: Apps, Online Training, PC Downloads, PC DVD-ROMs, DVD’s and other digital solutions.
- Assist with the creation, updating and maintenance of app store listings and releases for the company’s apps (currently via the Apple AppStore and Google Play)
- Assist with the development of data logging and presentation functions and automate where possible - currently into Google Sheets using Google Scripts presented via Google Looker Studio Reports
- Assist and become familiar with the creation/testing of our digital products, then QC testing the final product before release.
- Help ensure that all measures for the security of the Company’s cloud based solutions are in place.
- Help create, implement and manage digital codes for the relevant digital products.
- Become familiar with the company’s websites (WordPress, Shopify etc) and provide assistance to ensure their smooth running and continued development.
- Ensuring customers’ digital orders make a smooth transition through to completion, for example, ensuring orders stopped for fraud are dealt with.
- Assist with the implementation of new systems and online tools to help support and improve the teams productivity and address individual needs.
- Monitor the online security for staff, customers and networks and take appropriate steps to address security breaches if necessary.

- Experienced in Microsoft Windows, Google Workspace, Mac OS, Microsoft Office, mySQL Server, Sage 200, Amazon Cloud Services,(S3, Cloud front, SQS, SES) HTML, PHP, DNS, Networking, Zendesk, Wordpress.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or equivalent in computing subject.
- Technical Services experience - Several years in a similar environment
- GCSE in English & Maths.

OTHER INFORMATION:
- Salary is negotiable and subject to experience and qualifications.
- Hours of work are Monday to Thursday - 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with one hour’s lunch and on Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. with half hour’s lunch.
