Job Description

• Develop back-end applications according to the business needs
• Design, optimise and manage scalable distributed systems on the cloud
• Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, and analyze bottlenecks
• Participating in code review processes to improve code quality and provide collective code ownership
• Developing ideas for new features, technologies, or processes by monitoring latest industry trends.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.

• Good understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Experience with java-based programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Scala.
• Experience with one of the server side frameworks e.g. Spring
• Experience in building distributed, client/server enterprise management applications is a big plus
• Experience working with one or more relational databases
• Knowledge of serverless functions
• Eagerness to learn and flexibility to adopt new stacks
• Git Experience
• Understand the technology related to video and image processing is a big plus
• Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or with a group.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
