Role: Junior Social Media Manager
Location: Leatherhead, England, United Kingdom (On-site expected minimum 2 days per week. Move to Kingston campus from September 2023)
ROLE MISSION
Working in partnership with our client, the Junior Social Media Manager will take ownership of several household brands principally through TikTok, Instagram and Twitter but will have opportunities to grow and work across a range of social platforms.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...
You are a storyteller and a dot connector who is adept in the categories of food, gaming, music, and all things related to popular culture in the UK. This person will play a key role in developing and growing our social media strategy in the UK through impactful and innovative 'social first' content and authentic storytelling. They will work closely with Ice Cream Brand Management team and Creative team. The fast-paced nature of working with the client is amplified by the faster pace of social media itself, and this person will be able to understand, anticipate, and dictate movements within culture to further the growth, reach, and impact of Ice Cream category.
ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
We embrace hybrid work with 2+ days per week in the office. You'll be joining an agency team who are super passionate about best-in-class social and creative. You'll work closely with digital specialists, brand managers and customer service partners.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
- Working with the Senior Social Media Manager, you will develop and execute the UK social media strategy across TikTok Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms as required
- Own the development and execution of the day-to-day content calendar including copywriting, scheduling, content production and publishing.
- Grow the community across key social media channels, with a key focus on acquiring and connecting with a Gen-Z audience.
- Monitor social media networks for breaking news and viral content, including UGC.
- Monitor industry trends and stay on top of the latest social media technical innovations to keep our presence current and forward-thinking.
- Lead the creation of community focused campaigns that drive acquisition, retention, engagement, and brand goals and report on the performance of owned social channels to measure the effectiveness of our efforts, with an emphasis on continuous optimization and iteration.
- Align and work closely with the global teams to cross-post relevant content and drive synergy between channels.
- Analyse performance data and use it to inform social strategy, while communicating key learnings in the Ice Cream category.
- Create reports with full analysis of own and competitor platform performance, growth, and growth opportunities, including key insights, trends, and recommendations.
- Working alongside the CEC team, you will be responsible in identifying type and magnitude of crisis (in social) and highlighting social considerations when wider team is planning strategic response.

- Entrepreneurial and proactive - ability to spot opportunities to create content and help clients achieve their business ambitions
- Strong experience with social media publishing and analytics tools, with a good grasp of basic math.
- Flexibility and a willingness to pick up whatever tasks are required to complete the job and the ability to adapt to ever changing client & business needs
