Junior SEO & Analytics Executive

Axonn Media is an established digital marketing agency, based in Stratford in East London, but we have customers all over the UK and Europe. We blend our data-driven approach with our passion for creativity to deliver ROI for our clients.
We help our clients by creating a variety of compelling content for specific audience segments, through SEO and paid campaigns to ensure their key messaging resonates.
The successful candidate will join an experienced, fast-growing, multi-disciplined team of strategists, account managers, writers, graphic designers, animators, and video experts who use data to devise, implement and run campaigns using impactful content.
Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-rounded, experienced, SEO & Analytics Executive. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and playing an integral role in the team; analysing multiple data sets, using insight to guide both internal and client accounts on activities to deliver campaign success and SEO growth.
Below is a summary of what you will be doing:
- Understand client objectives to make recommendations to achieve the best campaign results
- Setting up and reporting on custom goals using universal analytics, tag manager and GA4
- Setting up custom campaign reporting using UTM tags and other tracking tools
- Migrating accounts, reports, and goals from UGA and GA3 to GA4
- Utilising search console to inform site health and organic strategies
- Working closely with the account management team to create and present recommendations to clients
- Setting up client-facing data insights to display live data to internal and external stakeholders
- Making keyword recommendations based on third-party tools
- Perform SEO site checks and recommendations
- An eye for presenting and tailoring reports - ensuring the formats are visually compelling (in line with Axonn brand guidelines), and easy to understand for clients
- A willingness to take the initiative to improve SEO skills and seek out new and novel optimisations that can improve site visibility /campaign success
- Experience in administering an agency GA/SC/GTM account that has access to client properties and views
- Practical knowledge of using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog
- The ability to turn data from analytics platforms such as Google Analytics into insights using data wrangling tools such as Google Data Studio and bespoke dashboards
About You
- A driven individual with agency experience, you will be looking for that next step in your marketing career
- Must have an interest in data and analytics and experience using third-party tools
- A keen interest in how data and analytics can inform editorial decisions and strategies for audience growth
- You’ll be interested in testing a variety of content formats and strategies to help our clients achieve their desired goals
- Minimum of 1 years work experience in a digital role with a particular focus on SEO and Google Analytics
- Strong time management skills
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms preferred
- A proactive, flexible and adaptable working style
- Ability to follow process' and use initiative where necessary
- Have an inquisitive mindset and a thirst for knowledge
- A willingness to learn new skills and recommend new tools or working practices to enhance Axonn’s service offering
- Take pride in your work, taking full accountability

What You’ll Get
- Position: Full-time, permanent
- Salary: £25,000-£30,000 dependent on experience/skills
- Location: London (Stratford / Olympic Park)
- Expected start date: ASAP
