We have an opportunity to join our Advanced Security Operations Consulting Team as a Junior Security Analyst working on a Customer Skybox solution.

Working as part of a dedicated team as a Junior Skybox Analyst you will be responsible for helping to deliver a fully Managed Skybox Service to one of our key clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Security Analyst Skybox your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Senior Analysts with investigations, Compliance Checking of Changes, Client escalations and process completion
  • Managing the Team’s mailbox in conjunction with Change Manager Tickets
  • Using the Skybox tool to provide governance around Firewall Changes, verifying Changes made and reporting identified Un-authorised Changes to the Client Teams
  • Maintaining the Data Sources within the platform, ensuring accuracy of Data
  • Providing Weekly Reports according to the Service Description for the Managed Service
  • Escalating any policy breaches or Security issues to Client Teams
  • Pro-active engagement with the Client’s Information Security Team

Required Skills

  • A willingness to learn
  • A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a professional telephone manner
  • Good knowledge and experience of IT, including Security Technologies such as Firewalls
  • Ability to work successfully, both individually and as part of a Team
  • Ability to follow and enhance established processes
  • Good working knowledge of Windows including Microsoft Excel
  • Basic working knowledge of Unix (Solaris, Linux, BSD)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the IT Security industry or a Cyber Security or Networking related qualification
  • TCP/IP networking skills
  • Basic working knowledge of VBA and bash scripting
  • Experience of providing a Managed Security Service or working within a Network/Firewall environment
  • Industry recognized accreditation – e.g. Network+, Sec+, CCNP
  • Experience in supporting Incident & Change Management and handling processes
  • Experience in the use of Skybox & ServiceNow would be beneficial, however full Training will be provided
  • Experience of working in environments subject to compliance requirements such as PCI DSS, FSA (UK), SOX and Euro-SOX, ISO27000 Series

Although the role is for a Junior Security Analyst, both Vendor aligned and on-the-job training will be provided to help you advance to a Security Analyst level.

The Role will be home based, but some travel may be required to attend Customers sites and attend NTT Offices, in Theale, Fleet or London.
