Job description
You will be integral part of analysts team, who support the production and delivery of accurate and high-quality reports. You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of robust and reliable data to the business stakeholders and customers.
You will be a team player and able to work alongside different business areas, whilst planning your workload and ensuring that the deadlines are met without sacrificing the quality or accuracy of the reports.
You will be a data cheerleader and look for ways of improving the report and analysis delivery (via automation or process improvement or other ways). You will tell a story using data and will effectively communicate this to the wider business and customers. You will drive the Analytics agenda across the business and will get involved in various data initiatives.
Your skills and background:
Essential:
- Responsible for data preparation, exploration, interrogation and analysis.
- Defined, designed, developed, tested, and deployed various report outputs maintaining an audit trail, quality version and source control for all reporting products.
- Driving Analytic Agenda – maintaining “one version of the truth”.
- Establish good working relationships with IT & the wider business to understand the analytics agenda.
- An excellent level of mathematical ability, including use of Excel.
- High organisational ability: plan work and meet deadlines in line with business needs.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Naturally inquisitive.
- An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion.
Desirable:
- Relevant experience within a healthcare setting
- Ability to use SQL for data analysis or any other programming data language.
