Connect to your opportunity

Playing a key client-facing role in driving the success of the Real Assets’ business as it develops new and innovative approaches to addressing clients’ Sustainability challenges, this role includes:

• Developing Real Assets “Net Zero” and broader ESG transition and implementation strategies for clients across a range of industries and sectors;
• Alongside our specialist valuation team, supporting clients address value-impact and resilience implications of the Sustainability agenda;
• Providing embedded Specialist Sustainability input and insight alongside colleagues across Deloitte’s Real Assets business to ensure all advice is appropriately informed;
• Supporting the Real Assets team on integrated projects across the breadth of Deloitte, including M&A due diligence, risk advisory and assurance.
• Connecting and cultivating collaborative relationships across both the breadth of the Deloitte network and with independent third parties of like ambition.
• Supporting Deloitte’s own growth and “World Climate” ambitions through the development of proposals and propositions.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

• Relevant experience gained within a Sustainability team at a Real Estate or Consulting practice, or from an in-house Sustainability team at an investor or corporate with extensive real estate holdings/investments;
• Detailed knowledge of Sustainability and ESG as it affects real estate and assets;
• Ability to assess at headline level what retrofit work is needed for a particular building, given access to building data and inspection;
• Ability to build business cases for investment in sustainability;
• Strong teamworking and project management approach with an eye for both detail and the ability to think creatively with an entrepreneurial approach;
• Commercially astute and driven by the desire to act with purpose and make an impact that matters;
• Knowledge of the Real Estate market and the role played by its various stakeholders;
• Likely to hold a recognised Sustainability / Environmental qualification, or interested in working towards this.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm. The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process.
