We are looking for a Trainee/Assistant/Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our consultancy firm. The successful candidate will be Assisting the QS/Director with creating and maintaining project forecasts, negotiating rates, compiling bids, reviewing contracts and managing budgets. An ideal candidate should be an organized worker who is able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain strong time management and shows a solid commitment to quality assurance in all their work.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Check that the total amount of construction materials are correct, and report problems to Chief Quantity Surveyor and Construction Workerager.
- Calculate the total amount of materials required for a construction project and ensure that the materials are purchased at the best prices possible.
- Research the costs of materials, hire external contractors to help on difficult projects, and manage any legal matters that may arise during construction.
- Perform financial analysis of construction projects., in order to ensure that projects remain within budget, and that all payments from clients are directed to subcontractors in an efficient manner.

Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- surveying: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
