The role
As a Junior QA Tester, you will ensure that our proprietary in-house software, Plan-Apps, is of the highest quality for our end users, and that all requirements are delivered with no defects or implications
What you'll be doing
We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like:
- Ensure that our Product and Development teams are aware of any bugs or differences between the requirements and the delivered features.
- Ensure that all functionality previously released to Plan-Apps remains functional and smooth for the end users.
- Define acceptance criteria for a reasonable number of test cases for each feature.
- Test product features against requirements.
- Document defects and ways to reproduce.
- Identify gaps in the requirements and recommending solutions.
- Contribute thoughts and ideas on how to improve the Plan-Apps user experience.
What you'll need to have / be
- Any experience testing software / within QA would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Ability to multitask and work with technical and commercial people.
- A strong passion for technology and cloud services.
- Ability to quickly become accustomed to our team’s workflow – experience or understanding of the Agile framework is highly desirable.

The process
- We will invite you to a first interview which we try to keep relatively informal, so it gives you the opportunity to share your authentic self. The hiring team will be looking to understand more about your experience and why you're interested in working with us.
- There will be a second interview which will last a little longer, and involve some form of task to showcase your ability to do the role.
- We then invite you to a meet & greet which is an opportunity for you to meet the team you'll be joining and ask them questions about the role and wider business.
