We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual with an interest in software to join our Quality Assurance team. You should be motivated, organised and possess an inquisitive streak to drive the quality of products at the Economist.

Accountabilities:How you will contribute:
- Testing of Web, Mobile and Desktop applications
- Test documentation creation and maintenance (test plans, test cases and checklists)
- Improving quality by developing scripts
- Upholding test standards, ensuring all audit requirements are met
- Creating reports on test results and software product quality
- Test estimation
- Liaise with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects – attending scrum review meeting and develop targeted test plans and cases
- Helping define and rollout improvements to testing and quality processes across both a tech team and wider company
- HTML5, CSV, JAVA and JQuery amendments and use of basic programming languages
- Functional and Non-Functional testing (GUI, Usability, Compatibility, Mobile, E2E) testing, Web-services / API testing
- Execute the internal regression testing process to ensure no existing business functionality is affected by feature development

- Essential: Knowledge and experience in any of the following: .Net, Java, JavaScript, Python.
- Desired: ISTQB Foundation testing qualification.
- Desired: QA experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation
