The Opportunity
We're looking for a Junior Project Manager / Project Co-Ordinator / Project Administrator who has some experience with MS Project to join us on a national 5-year data digitisation programme. You will know your way around MS Project including creating project plans and be familiar with building RAID logs and producing status reports. You'll be looking to take the next step in your project management career.
This is an exciting chance to work for a fast growth technology and data business that will allow you to grow your career and develop your skills as a project manager. We're growing fast, which means there will be an opportunity for you to take on more responsibility as your role develops.
The role will involve:
- Creating and maintaining:
- MS Project Gantt Schedules
- RAID Logs
- Tasks
- Project plans
- Status Reports
- Communication and meetings management
- Administrating up to 10 project streams at any one time.
As the role evolves, you'll take on more responsibility including client facing exposure. Eventually, you'll take ownership of the actual project deliverables.
About You
Ideally, you'll have a year or so in a project management / co-ordinator / project admin role. Or you'll be in a role that has had some exposure to the above skills. We're not looking for someone with many years experience in project management as this would likely be a backwards step for them but please do apply for the related "Senior Project Manager" vacancy that we have if you are more experienced.
You'll be:
- Enthusiastic and hungry to learn
- Some knowledge around MS Project – RAID logs / Gantt charts / project admin.
- Extremely organised
- Very good attention to detail
- Ambitious with a strong desire to grow your skills as a project manager.
