About the role
As a Junior Project Manager, you will primarily be responsible for leading small Projects within DHU Healthcare CIC & it’s divisions. The Junior Project Manager will manage a number of small projects, and will manage tasks, actions & risks appropriately to meet the needs of DHU Healthcare CIC. They will contribute to and maintain a PRINCE2 based project support system and associated functions.
This is a hands-on role, so there will be plenty of opportunities to not just successfully project manage our workload, but to also be part of the requirements scoping, planning and delivery of the projects, whilst working towards DHU’s Values, behaviours, and principles

Responsibilities:
- Manage the project process from Business Case through to project value realisation.
- Initiate and maintain all Project management documentation and tracking tools, including a detailed suite of project mobilisation plans, business cases, Project Initiation Documents (PIDs) Action Logs, Risk Logs, and regular reporting documentation.
- Support Project Managers & the Head of PMO in all aspects of their work including improving processes, maintaining DHU’s strategic portfolio of works, and allocations of resource to varying workloads & opportunities.
- Identify & agree tasks, milestones, owners, dates, timescales & dependencies - agree timescales and resources required for particular stages of development, implementation support and co-ordination of service change and project plans.
Essential Skills:
· Experience of matrix style working across organisation’s, influencing staff at all levels to work towards goals when there is no direct control or reporting line.
· Experience in identifying tasks, milestones, owners, dates, timescales, and dependencies in project mobilisation plans.
· Ability to organise, prioritise & multitask without supervision, working to meet tight and often challenging deadlines, managing conflicting demands for time and resources.
Desirable Skills:
· Formal Project or Program Management qualification(s) e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner level, MSP, APM Project Management.
· Experience in all aspects of project process, documentation, and administration relating to successful management, communication, and delivery of projects.
· Experience in business case completion, managing budgets, and financially reporting expenditure against Financial Model Templates & business cases.
