The Role:
This fast-growing global company creates and deploys market-leading customised promotions and digital loyalty SaaS solutions for retailers, hospitality, and CPG suppliers globally. With offices in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, there are several opportunities for progression within this company.
They are seeking a Junior Product Owner to join their business and help the Product Owner and Engineering teams with product feature design, build, and documentation. You will be inquisitive, detail-oriented, and flexible.
The Responsibilities:
- Developing a thorough grasp of the product in order to respond to questions from internal stakeholders.
- Information gathering on the current platform use cases to assist in the definition of any future functionality.
- Assisting in the creation of user stories.
- Assisting with functional testing of new features delivered in sprints.
- Writing public facing release notes.
- Managing Aha and JIRA tickets.
- Representing the Product Team in daily stand ups.
- Liaising with project teams to keep the rest of the business updated on progress.
The Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial product owner / project manager role.
- A technical background - educational or commercial.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Experience using product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Aha.
- A team plater with flexible attitude and a desire to make a difference.
