The D&I Manager is accountable to the Associate Director OD and Wellbeing and is responsible for leading diversity and Inclusion cultural improvements across the Trust by identifying and evaluating opportunities and implementing solutions to improve organisational culture and staff experience. The leadership, direction and delivery of the Diversity and Inclusion strategy across the organisation is the responsibility of the post holder. This includes evaluation of the effectiveness of the strategic plan, to identify ways in which to improve KPI’s, delivering against the model employer aspirations and levelling up agenda, and to have robust reporting skills to enable effective analysis of key data including, but not limited to, the Workforce Race Equality scheme (WRES) and Workforce Disability Equality scheme (WDES) and model employer.In an autonomous role the post holder is crucial to the delivery of the overall EDI plan and is expected to be a role model for the Trust values and leadership behaviours, delivering to the highest standards and promoting a positive inclusive culture throughout the organisation. The post involves collaborating with individuals and teams to solve organisational challenges; the role also involves the design and implementation of interventions which may include training, design and delivery of all work programmes and communication with staff at all levels is a key part of the job.
