About Our Client
Our client is a well established organisation in Manchester who have been around for almost 200 years! They are extremely passionate about the services they offer and also very passionate about the work/life balance they offer their employees.
As a business, they reach and engage with millions of people every year, and their website and digital marketing plays a significant part in delivering this. As a Junior Product Owner, you will join a specialist digital team in the central marketing department. They lead the in-house digital marketing service, developing the web estate, working on a wide range of diverse campaigns and producing outstanding content.
Job Description
In the role, you will:
- Take a lead role in developing the content management systems which support several of the key websites. Drupal is the CMS system that the business use so if you have experience using this, that's a bonus but not a must-have. Any CMS experience will be welcomed
- Work with key stakeholders, content owners and technical specialists to continually improve the digital estate
- Work with developers, and support work flows by creating tickets, supporting sprint management and testing prior to release
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with the partner agency

This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in the digital product space; you may already be a digital product owner already, work in account management with an agency, or be a technical specialist looking for a change of role.
The ideal candidate will;
- Have a strong understanding of all things digital, and in particular the skills and disciplines essential for product management
- Can work with a wide variety of stakeholders to shape business requirements which translate into a product road map and backlog
- Understand user-centred design, the tools and the approaches which enable an organisation to develop a digital estate which is grounded in user needs
- Can work with technical specialists using agile methods to continually improve and develop a digital estate
