Position:
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on and curious individual to join the Jamie Oliver team at an immensely exciting and transformative time for the brand. Ideally you would have had at least 2 years product experience, working in homewares categories (e.g. kitchenware and tableware).

You will provide critical support to the Head of Non-Food in planning, developing, managing and implementing licensed business growth and portfolio development in Non-Food product categories. This role is both broad and dynamic, giving you the opportunity to lead projects from concept to launch.

Responsibilities include:*

  • Take ownership of product development for the non-food categories, manage the licensing approval process from product concept to launch, liaising with product designers, creative teams, licensees, external collaborators and manufacturers
  • Research and distil data and actionable insights of relevant product categories from partners, competitors and markets; formulate ideas and implement learnings for new product development opportunities and range plans
  • Lead the process for creating impactful product design, positioning and messaging for each new product launch embedding the brand DNA and visual identity
  • Define and verify detailed product specs and features working closely with partners, vendors and internal teams; create and manage product data on internal systems
  • Work closely with the technical team and act as a conduit between internal and external teams to ensure all standards and testing requirements are correctly implemented
  • Create briefs for new ranges, products, photo shoots and communication assets in accordance with company strategy, brand vision, business objectives and marketing budget and work through in-house approvals with various teams including Editorial, Art, Design, Food and Marketing.
  • Manage licensees account and approval workstreams for product, packaging, point of sale (POS), digital communications etc.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to produce effective campaigns and content for the entire customer lifecycle and across all consumer touch points
  • Champion and lead integration of sustainability objectives and eco credentials across all allocated projects
  • Track, measure and report against Commercial objectives relating to the allocated categories
  • Maintain an up to date retail price lists for all relevant product categories, recommending pricing strategies, where appropriate
  • Coordinate websites set-up an e-commerce product page management for the allocated categories, including managing relationships with third-party agencies
  • Collaborate with legal team for any product or partner related enquiry and ensure compliance of any activity with contractual terms
  • Be a brand guardian across licensed product related materials; ensuring all proposed licensee sales and marketing activity is in keeping with the brand values
  • Collate commercial and marketing updates from licensees on existing and new distribution, retailer listings or product activity
  • Attend meetings as required and provide updates on the allocated categories and sales performance
  • Provide day-to-day support with packing and shipping samples from shoots and meetings
  • Redirect customer service queries to relevant 3rd parties or respond directly where appropriate
  • Provide general administrative support relating to the allocated categories

Requirements:
What you'll need to know:

  • Product Marketing (or similar field) graduate
  • At least 2+ years working within a product management, product licensing or product buyer role, with experience of developing commercially viable products within consumer goods channels, preferably in homewares and categories such as kitchenware and tableware. A background in managing DTC brands will also be appreciated.
  • Concept-to-Launch Product Development and Product Management experience
  • Numerate, able to analyse and present data, with good presentation skills

  • Excellent communicator and able to provide in-depth verbal and written feedback to internal and external stakeholders at a proofreader’s level
  • Great interpersonal skills demonstrated through managing input and deadlines with multiple internal departments
  • Above all, passionate about the Jamie Oliver brand and an enthusiastic brand advocate.
