Job description
We’re looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer to join our growing product team at Juniper Education where you’ll help build the future of education technology. You will be responsible for implementing a next-level user experience for all our front-facing products
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary design, product and engineering teams to improve the look, feel and usability of the Juniper product suite, as well as maintaining our design component library.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Implement visually compelling user interface designs (referencing mocks and spec files) and design effective, responsive user interfaces across web and mobile devices.
- Maintaining and updating the Juniper component library, working closely with other designers and engineers to ensure its up to date with necessary components.
- ·Work closely with product managers, product owners and the development team to ensure that designs and product development blend effectively.
- ·Collaborate and work closely with the design team, providing and receiving feedback and working to improve the Juniper user experience.
Key attributes and competences
- A keen interest in UI/UX design, with creative flair and an attention to detail.
- An understanding of typography, layout, accessibility, and visual hierarchy.
- A good communicator able to work with people from both technical and non-technical backgrounds, with a collaborative and friendly approach.
- Attention to detail and an excellent command of written and spoken English.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
