Introduction
My client is a project management consultancy, with a speciality in the build environment.
They are looking for a Junior Power BI Data Analyst to develop and maintain complex data models in SQL servers and Power BI.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years’ working experience with either SQL or Power BI and be a confident communicator as you will be dealing with clients and stakeholders regularly. Candidates must also be based in the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst to join a growing consultancy and grow your Management Consultancy skills!
Applicants must be UK resident for at least 5 years, as the client are unable to take visa sponsorships.
Key responsibilities
- Produce project initiation documentation, project proposals and appointment terms.
- Agree and action any technical and quality strategies for gathering the required data.
- Help clients make evidence-based decisions.
- Be responsible for project administration.
- Develop and maintain complex data models in SQL Server and PowerBI.
- Able to provide briefs to clients and stakeholders on project findings.
- Depending on your expertise, you may be asked to manage new members of the team offering mentoring and leadership which will be critical for them to grow their team.
Skills & experience
- At least 1+ years’ experience.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel for data transformation, modelling and data analysis.
- Experience with either SQL or PowerBI.
- Confident communicator.
- Able to manipulate and restructure data.
- Strong attention to detail and is able to analyse information critically.
- Able to interpret data and put findings into context
- Proficient in other Microsoft Office programmes
