Job Advert: Junior Filehandler at Progress Law Solicitors
Progress Law Solicitors is a reputable and dynamic law firm specializing in criminal injuries compensation claims. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Filehandler to join our team. As a Junior Filehandler, you will play a crucial role in engaging with potential clients, assessing their cases, and ultimately converting them into valued clients.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with potential clients who have suffered criminal injuries, demonstrating empathy and understanding throughout the process.
Conduct thorough assessments of potential clients' cases, collecting necessary information, and evaluating the viability of claims.
Provide professional advice to potential clients regarding their legal rights, options, and the compensation process.
Effectively present and explain the services and expertise of Progress Law Solicitors to potential clients, highlighting our commitment to achieving justice on their behalf.
Collaborate with the legal team to prepare and organize the necessary documentation and evidence required for claims.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, case assessments, and progress updates in our case management system.
Follow up with potential clients, providing updates on their case, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Keep abreast of changes in legislation and legal procedures relevant to criminal injuries compensation claims.
Requirements:
A law degree or equivalent qualification is essential.
Proven sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with potential clients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess the merits of potential cases.
Empathy, compassion, and the ability to connect with individuals who have experienced trauma.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in case assessments and documentation.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with case management systems.
Previous experience in personal injury law or criminal injuries compensation claims is desirable but not essential.
