About Our Client
My client are an established law firm in the North west. They work across different disciplines, ranging from corporate to Wills and Probate.

Job Description
- Managing the tean's calender: ensuring that all team members are aware of upcoming deadlines
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail: including sorting and distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, and maintaining accurate records of all mail correspondence
- Answering phones: directing calls to appropriate team member or department
- Reviewing client files: to determine if there is evidence of mis - selling
- Conducting research: including pension laws and regulations, financial products, and the mis-selling practices of financial advisers to support the work of the firm
- Drafting claim letters: drafting claim letters and other legal documents related to pension mis-selling claims
- Communicating with clients: regarding their claims, providing regular updates on case progress and answering basic questions about the legal process
- Coordinating with external this parties: such as the Financial Ombudsman Service, to facilitate the resolution of claims, pre - litigation
- Maintaining confidentiality: junior paralegals must maintain the confidentiality of client information and other sensitive matters
The Successful Applicant
- Someone who should be able balance legal and administrative responsibilities, prioritise tasks, and work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
- Attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly are also important for the success of the role
- Someone who has administrative experience and wants to transfer into a legal field
- Can be a law graduate looking to progress
- Confident personality, who can come across well on the phone
