Acara Solutions is looking for Design Engineers in Gainesville, TX.

Direct Placement!!

• Design coordination of seats and seat components. Coordinates between various customers and vendors.
• Interfaces with Program Manager on project development and design progress.
• Reviews customer requirements and specification and relates them to product design.
• Monitors day-to-day design progress as Needed.
• Assures conformity of product and that engineering deadlines are me.
• Confers with customers and vendors on conceptual configuration and initial design requirements for various new and on-going seat programs.
• Reviews design specifications and incorporates into assigned product.
• Prepares lay outs of overall design task including structural and articulation systems.
• Defines design standards to maintain commonality with existing product line.
• Defines and sets goals as to complete tasks as expeditiously as possible.
• Prepares advanced bill of materials and long-lead item list.
• Review design package to assure conformance to latest specifications and regulations.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Design Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Mechanical and Energy Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' years of Design experience.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Design Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Mechanical and Energy Engineering.
• Must have excellent drafting skills in CATIA V5 (or higher) or Pro/Engineer.
• Needs advanced knowledge of aircraft seat products.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $105,000.00 per year
