We are JZ! Founded in 1990 and one of the most progressive suppliers of flowers and plants into large-sized retail organisations in the UK, Ireland and America. In 2020 we decided with the DFG to consolidate production sites across the UK & IE and SuperFlora’s production moved to Newport & Intergreen’s to Naas. We still have production and offices at Holbeach and Moulton.

Making Life Colourful
We are looking for a Junior Designer to work alongside our New Product Design Team based in Holbeach.
Working closely with the Account Managers, this role will involve the development of added value horticultural ranges for major retailers. Organisation of samples, mocking up, costing and creation of products to meet with customer's requirements. Working with products from concept through to final production. Customer requests are delivered to a high standard and in a timely fashion.
The responsibilities of this role include:
· Responsible for creating and designing product ranges from concept design to launch following the specification of customer’s briefs.
· Ensure all products developed are fit for purpose and achieve the required margin while meeting tight deadlines.
· To be responsible for the ordering, make-up, and display for photoshoots, presentations, and any ad hoc request.
· Preparation of hardware specifications and briefings to suppliers (far east, Europe & UK)
· Create suitable pack count solutions.
· Photography (including mock ups and editing)
· Preparation of graphics/packaging required.
· Manage artwork & hardware sign-off process internal & external.
· Manage all administrative tasks from concept through to launch, including creating NPD sheets & customer offers.
· Liaising with internal departments both in the UK and Holland
· Visit stores on a regular basis, document, and feedback.
· Assist and support internal teams such as technical and production with pre-productions (Newport – Hull)
· Create and ensure all hardware order forms are thoroughly checked and accurate.

Experience in Horticulture / FMCG industry and experience in flower/plants supply will be advantageous.
This is a salaried, full-time position, with company benefits. Hours of work will be based on 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs Monday to Friday however additional hours over the peak periods will be required to include early starts, late finishes and weekend working.
