Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Coordinator to support our Logistics team. Located in East London, you will provide logistical services for UK and International deliveries, including store specific contents and packing sheets, courier labels, tracking and POD information. You will also assist the Production team in organising and responding to a large volume of client specifications and requirements within a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Producing campaign picking/contents sheets, courier labels, overs sheets for all clients.
- To provide POD reports and activity reports to dispatch.
- Produce international paperwork for exporting goods.
- Query and resolve late deliveries and undelivered goods.
- Check courier invoices.
- Raise Purchase Orders for courier invoices.
- Administer Courier address databases.
- Produce delivery notes, over sheets and pre-advise warehouses of deliveries.
- Organise courier vehicles and collection times.
- Assist production office with general administration.
- Produce daily despatch lists for Production, Logistics and Despatch team.
- Provide admin support to production controllers when organising their key tasks.
- Receive call off requests from client and individual stores, put these requests into spread sheet and forward to call off centre.
- Ensure call-offs are complete and despatched.
- Provide administration support for invoice preparation, recording all costs, despatches etc.
Skills - Essential / Desirable
- Previous Logistics experience would be ideal
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft applications, including word and excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of couriers and import/export customer paperwork
