We are a Design and Textile dye studio based in London, founded in 2016. Our aim is to promote the idea of Knitwear is the new fashion and our focus is on hand-knit, handmade fashion and accessories.

We are a design/dye studio based in South West London.

Your salary will be determined based on your Experiences and skills, the below job duty is a guideline for full-time or part time, trained studio assistant with the scope to work up to a more senior role. Successful candidate will be working across a range of tasks including marketing, operations, wholesale, sales, customer service, fulfilment. The job of Studio Assistant is to be responsible for assisting the studio manager and ensuring the operating tasks are managed, providing assistance between teams and ensuring the good practices for the business are undertaken at all times. The role is responsible for assisting in many different aspects of business operation. We are looking for someone who is able to juggle many tasks while ensuring high standards are kept. Communication is key and you must be able to effectively communicate across different teams, chasing up when needed and taking responsibility to see tasks through to completion. You will be expected to be able to manage your own time effectively while working well in a small team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • monitor the online shop orders and organise the packing and fulfilling of orders
  • work with customer service team to resolve any issues such as stock discrepancies
  • work with the different team managers to ensure orders are able to be fulfilled
  • assist with the organisation of wholesale orders from initial enquiry through to fulfilment and shipping
  • organise postage of samples as needed
  • Assisting with daily operations and ensure compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.
  • Involved in the setting of service and quality standards, and to monitor and strive for their achievement.
  • Assist other departments and team members to insure smooth running operation of the company.
  • assist with co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Assist in creation and publication of marketing materials in line with marketing plans.
  • Assisting with new product launches.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Propose and participate in department meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce desired results.
  • Inspect studio and ensure cleanliness and proper setup of all department areas.
  • assist with the coordination and organisation of wholesale orders
  • liaise with range of different clients in an appropriate manner
  • work with the different team managers to ensure orders are able to be fulfilled

Business Responsibilities

  • Aware of business targets and objectives, and to strive for their achievement.
  • Take positive action to meet objectives and targets.
  • Support the Studio Manger in the implementing and/or following of department procedures.
  • Handle enquiries in an efficient manner in order to maximise sales and generating revenue.
  • Stay up to date with general knowledge about business vision and concept.
  • Purchase and inventories according to budget.
  • Identify and addresses opportunities.
  • Assist in ensuring rotas and timesheets are compiled accurately and according to legal requirements.

Exhibitions & External Events

  • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions.
  • Opportunity to visit clients and attend trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Managing events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials.
  • Representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Help organise events, exhibitions and seminars, making bookings and overseeing the guest list.
