We are looking for a highly skilled General Manager to join our team based at our head office. Salary will be based on performance, experience and will rise during the growing company to reflect workload.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring that all care services are delivered in a timely, professional and compassionate manner. You will manage a team of staff, ensuring that they are well supported and motivated to deliver the standard of care that Armstrong After Care Services is renowned for.
Responsibilities:
-Overall management responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business
-Implementing and maintaining an effective quality assurance system
-Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met
-Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure budgets and targets are met
-Leading and managing a team of staff, including recruitment, training and development
-Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carers and stakeholders
-Representing Armstrong After Care Services at external meetings and conferences
Essential Skills:
-Proven experience in a senior management role within a domiciliary care or healthcare environment
-Experience in managing and developing a team of staff
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-Knowledge and understanding of current legislation and regulation within domiciliary care
-Strong budget management skills and experience of working to targets
-Experience of implementing and maintaining quality care standards
-Strong leadership and decision-making skills
