Junior IT Support Technician
Our Client based UK Wide are looking for a 1st Line support technician to join the team on a contract basis. You will be working on the service desk to diagnose and solve technical queries in order to support customer across the UK and EMEA region. The role will be hybrid working from one of the clients main offices, the right candidate should expect occasional site visits to one or more of any of the clients other sites. Ideally the right candidate will have 1/2 years experience looking to move into a more senior role.
Responsibilities:
1st line technical support
To ensure all customer tickets are logged into the support desk system
To gather all relevant information and ensure all necessary data has been provided for troubleshooting
To investigate and resolve customer queries in a professional and empathetic manner
To engage with Customers after initial diagnosis and ensure all relevant data has been gathered
To resolve and close tickets within the terms of the SLA & Support Contracts
To keep the Customer updated on progress at all times
Escalation of complex tickets to the appropriate senior member of the team
