Junior International Account Manager
International - Piccadilly

Our Head Office department is located in the heart of Piccadilly and occupies the 5th & 6th floor of our beautiful flagship store. This central London location, offers so much to explore including restaurants, bars, cultural sites, shopping and more, and only a short walk from the Green Park Tube Station and plenty of bus stops.
Role Purpose:
To be responsible for managing client accounts, which will include aspects of range presentation, operations, finance and customer service to ensure appropriate brand representation and to maximise sales performance. To deliver to the agreed strategy and targets.
Reports to: Head of International
Key interfaces:
The role holder will interact with multiple parties across the company business, liaising on requirements for customers (food technical, administration, logistics) and providing information to the wider business as and when required. The role holder will liaise regularly with departments such as Buying, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Finance, Retail and Technical.
- Ensure that presentations and price lists are supplied to customers in line with our internal critical path and in line with deadlines set by Merchandising. Agreed timelines must be met regarding product presentations, pricing and sample availability.
- Ensure all new product opportunities are maximised subject to regional preferences and restrictions. Be proactive in suggesting what these might be.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising Teams to support new product launches and enhancing the brand wherever possible within constraints of our Wholesale partners’ corporate guidelines.
- Monthly check on retail sales and regular checks of customer range to ensure that it is up to date. Be prepared to report customer sales monthly and to talk knowledgably about your customers’ ranges.
- Regular calls with your customers
- Problem-solve issues arising with customers regarding all aspects of account management.
- Promote our partners’ online activity to maximise sales taking every opportunity to enhance the brand’s digital presence and social activity. Record online sales and progress. Record enhancements and regularly check retail prices to feed back into customer price list.
- Assist the Head of International in gathering information regarding prospective new clients and opportunities and sharing our terms including order minima, payment terms, exclusivity etc. Checking New Account form before and post submission to Finance.
- Work with the International Merchandiser to forecast customers’ sales and report on performance to Head of International. Work towards maximum possible order fulfilment
- Contribute to monthly executive board report
- Manage the intake of customer orders on time and manage communication with clients regarding order issues and collections.
- Liaise with Technical Support for all export procedures, product registrations and food labelling.
- Closely work with the International Accounts Assistant in relation to invoicing and customer debt.
- Report into the Head of International weekly on sales status against budget and all operational issues.
- Assist in building sales and margin budgets
- Visit key markets as and when required
- In line with one of our brand standards, Achieve Together, build strong, cordial and professional relationships with team members and the wider business teams.
- Grow the International Wholesale business within the parameters of strategy set by the business.

- Numerate, financially astute, high level of Excel skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, adept at interacting with people at all levels and cultures

- Able to work to tight deadlines and work flexibly.
