Junior Information Security Analyst

With our newly formed Information Security team, we are looking for a Junior Information Security Analyst to operate our security incident and Event Monitoring (SIEM) platform and the associated technical controls to ensure that our security undergoes continuous improvement. Do you have a strong interest in Information Security? This could be the role for you!
Location: London or Portsmouth based, Hybrid working applies with 2 days in the office, 3 days at home.
Where do you fit in?
As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will report in to and work closely with the Information Security Manager. You will have the opportunity to be trained to operate our security incident and event monitoring (SIEM) platform. You will ensure that our security undergoes continuous improvement, after training you will be responsible for managing all existing controls and providing input into new implementations to support our Information Security strategy. This role will be instrumental in improving our security posture and enabling a security culture.

What do you need to succeed?
- Information technology experience across multiple domains
- Experience with enterprise and IT systems support and monitoring
- The ability to assist with technical-decision making
- Ideally SOC analyst experience with a cloud security background
- Ideally entry level security certification such as ISC2’s Certified in CyberSecurity or the SSCP or a Security+ but not essential
