Version 1 have recently hired our 3000th employee across multiple regions, doubling in size since 2020. We plan to triple in size in the next 5 years. This role will be part of the people team who will enable us to scale from 2500 to 3000 to 4000 people over the next few years. The role will offer the successful candidate broad exposure and experience across a variety of HR streams and provide HR administrative support within a fast-paced results orientated organisation.
Role Responsibilities
- This role is one of the first points of contact for incoming HR queries, the role will triage queries to the HR team and will also deal with incoming queries directly
- Maintain and update HR System data as appropriate, ensuring the integrity of all HR data and GDPR compliance
- Support the wider HR team with key HR projects, Employee Relations activities and other ad hoc duties as required
- Provide effective general HR administration including generation of reports and issuing of employee letters and reference requests
- Managing the administration and coordination of the onboarding process within Version 1
- Processing work permits for non-Irish nationals applying for roles in Version 1. Also, maintaining the communication with the relevant key stakeholders.
- Processing background checks and clearances for new joiners and current employees/contractors. Also, maintaining the communication with the relevant key stakeholders
- Conducting right to work checks for new joiners and current employees
Desired Experience and Approach
- Degree or third level qualification in Human Resources or related discipline is beneficial but not essential
- CIPD qualification is beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to continuous professional development. CIPD Qualification would be beneficial
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven organisational and coordination skills
- People focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong IT skills, with a knowledge of IT systems and processes
- Competent using Excel
- Ability to deliver high levels of performance and service excellence while managing high volume workload
