Job description
The AEG Presents Festival team are searching for a Junior Graphic Designer to work across BST Hyde Park, All Points East and other events.
Working with our external creative teams and our in-house marketing team, you will plan, develop, and create digital assets that showcase our festivals and engage our target audiences.
You will assist in the execution of all assets with excellent eye for detail with strong typography, imagery, colour, and layout; deliver all design content in line with the festival brand identity, values and tone; and have a design awareness of festival brands and trends within the music industry plus other brands, lifestyle and fashion
Typical day to day activities include:
- keeping up to date and aware of web, email and social weekly calendars - ensuring correct assets are delivered on time across channels;
- supporting the Social Media Manager by supplying image and video assets for festival social content;
- working alongside the social media team, photo and video teams and marketing teams to create visual content on site at our events;
- preparing art and branding pack for relevant teams to use on site at our events; and
- working with our Global Partnerships team to amplify partner activations on a design level.
We’re looking for someone with previous design experience within festival & or the music industry would be an advantage.
With a strong creative portfolio, you’ll be able to show proven designs across a range of platforms.
You will have a good understanding of branding, advertising, typography, design and layout with experience in all types of design and creativity.
You’ll have a diverse art production skill set, with experience across graphic design for digital and print, motion graphics, video, illustration, research & ideation.
With confidence in, knowledge of and ability to use Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator plus video editing tools (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, iMovie); you’ll be a self-starter with an ability to understand the requirements of any given project.
You’ll have good time management and organisational skills with the ability to work across many projects.
