Fancy working for an AJ100 practice? I've got a fantastic opportunity for Junior/Graduate Technician to work for a well established nationwide AJ100 practice. This will be based from their Kent office. It's a permanent position with a salary up to £28,000 pa.

It would be great to have around 1 years experience for this position however if you're just out of your studies then you may still be considered. This is one of those positions with fantastic career progression and for people working towards becoming a member of CIAT. The company regularly take on graduates and nurture them through their early career within the world of Architecture and memberships where required.

You'll be working and learning alongside a Senior Technician within the office, assisting with detailing packages, NBS specifications, plans/sections/elevations and more. It would be great if you could demonstrate some technical prowess with some stage 4 detailing examples within your portfolio. You'll be visiting various sites with a mentor and it is important you have the ability to drive to these sites where required, so a driving licence is a must for this one. An understanding of UK building regulations is also required.

The work is both residential and education. The company in question are known for their long standing expertise within the education sector- primary through to tertiary, however with a recent influx in large scale single dwelling residential developments you'll also be getting involved with this area as well.

ArchiCAD is the main software in use but if you've no experience with ArchiCAD then don't let that scare you off- training will be provided and they are very much considering people who've never used the software but are willing to learn. Some prior BIM experience would be ideal but not a must.Eventually you'll be assisting with some of the ArchiCAD BIM models once training has been completed in this area.
