Job description
tommee tippee is one of the most trusted and recognisable global baby brands, loved by babies and recommended by generations of parents. But we’re on a mission. We want to become the world’s most loved baby company. To help with this we are looking for a talented Junior Global Product Marketing Manager to join our brilliant team at our Mayborn global HQ!
The company is going through a hugely exciting phase of global growth and the Global Product team is at the heart of this, developing and delivering products that will focus on solving problems for parents.
The business has a positive and engaging culture, where people relish the opportunity of playing a significant role in the development of a high growth organisation.
As Junior Global Product Marketing Manager you will play an integral part in the future growth of the brand. Working closely with NPD and marketing teams, you will ensure that new products are developed and launched to delight consumers, enhance the tommee tippee brand and grow the profitability of our categories. You’ll also lead projects to improve our existing products.
It’s a fantastic time to join a company that plays a special part in the lives of young children and parents.
What you will be doing:
This is a position which offers significant breadth and exposure to the full marketing mix requiring you to:
- Track the global competitive landscape and work closely with our regional teams to identify product opportunities for category growth.
- Understand consumer and competitor insights of the key markets & barriers to purchase.
- Complete Scoping and Business Case documents to initiate and finalise our new product launches.
- Lead project teams to develop NPD and EPD through to market launch.
- Support our Brighter Futures agenda by making our products more sustainable.
- Manage the pack artwork and instructions for use process.
- Own the SKU matrix for a project, ensuring regions ultimately forecast in line with it.
- Brief our Global Content team on digital asset requirements.
- Help manage the lifecycles of our products, spotting opportunities to improve our existing portfolio.
- Own the commercial P&Ls for your projects and be accountable for their delivery.
- Contribute to the shared 3-year strategic plan for future NPD development.
What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:
- First and foremost you need to be passionate for the role. We’re lucky to have such a meaningful role, helping parents become the best versions of themselves through product development. And for that reason we genuinely want people in the business that can get excited by that.
- We’re a values-driven business and at all levels in the organisation we’re keen to recruit people who can role model these behaviours. Specifically they are Play to Win, In It Together, Be Bold, Take Pride and Respect Each Other.
- Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience in Product Marketing; experience in a global role would also be advantageous.
- You should be proactive, willing to make decisions and comfortable working in a fast paced and often uncertain environment.
- Good communication skills are a must, including presenting to audiences of varying size and seniority.
- And you should also have strong attention to detail as a significant part of the role requires it, including portfolio management, commercial analysis and approving pack artworks.
If you feel that you have the skills and experience to play a key role in this rapidly evolving global success story, then we’d love to hear from you.
