About the role:
The Production Planning Assistant will provide the effective administration and assistance in a wide range of Planning activities, to ensure a smooth pipeline of demand. You will be responsible for the release of work and timely distribution to operations, contributing to the overall achievement of branch KPIs.
What will you be doing?
Working alongside the Planning & Analysis Manager, you will develop the site operational schedule to ensure customer requirements are planned in the most efficient way.
You will be responsible for developing the operational schedule and delivering to the production manager(s)
Provide administrative support to Operations through the release of customer orders
Ensure the timely distribution & smooth workflow of customer demand into operations
Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders, identifying & resolving issues, escalating where appropriate
Effectively communicate any changes to the operational schedule to relevant stakeholders
Essential skills you’ll need:
Relevant experience in an administrative role
Excellent communication skills
Flexible, adaptable and able work well under pressure in a dynamic retail and operational environment
IT skills
Desirable skills you’ll have:
Experience in Production planning roles
