Job description
Are you a skilled and enthuiastic accountant with a keen interest in the intersection of education and technology sectors? We're looking for an Accountant intern to join our dyanmic EdTech startup team this spring/summer, and help us transition our start-up to a more product-focused company as we rebrand and scale our operations with UK univervsities due to injection of new funding.
We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who can handle the financial aspects of our growing company. As an Accountant, you'll be responsible for working with our CFO in managing our day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting. As a start-up company we also expect you to wear many hats such as helping us with our business analytics and even contributing to the business roadmap for our new product offerings.
What you'll do:
- Manage our financial systems and processes
- Conduct financial analyses and prepare reports
- Assist in business analytic activities such as forecasting demand and analysing product trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (such as business analyitcs, economics, statistics)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Excel
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £24,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
