Here at Bristol Ambulance we have an exciting opportunity for Ambulance Care Assistants to work on our NHS Patient Transport Services in Bristol and Bridgwater. You will need to be customer and patient focused, with a calming and friendly approach to patients, carers, families and clients. Ensuring patient comfort is our top priority and using excellent driving skills to ensure that our patients arrive in a timely and safe manner.

We value staff training and development:

After 12 months of becoming an Ambulance Care Assistant you will be eligible to apply for our Emergency Care Assistant Apprenticeship where you will become a part of our Emergency and Frontline departments and you will receive your Blue Light Driving Qualification (CERAD) - Previous experience within the industry will be reviewed and could enable you to apply after 6 months!

After successful completion of the Emergency Care Assistant Apprenticeship, the natural progression pathway is to apply for the AAP (Advanced Ambulance Practitioner) Apprenticeship programme. If its your ambition to become a Paramedic, then this is the place for you!
