WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will have a wide and varied role, writing reports on historic mining and ground risks for our clients, focusing on providing excellent technical and non-technical customer service.

  • Completing property risk reports, primarily mining and environmental assessments, to an excellent standard, with attention to those requiring manual intervention or further reporting.
  • Production and writing to an excellent standard, property risk reports, and be eager to learn to undertake our more detailed, further action reporting.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance your skillsets around environmental and geological guidance, best practice, risk assessment processes and methodologies.
  • Maintain a good understanding of company operations and use of systems.
  • Delivery of immaculate customer service, particularly technical queries, to external parties & customers.
  • Working constructively and seamlessly with Operations team management and appropriately raising any queries, issues, or concerns.
  • Sharing ideas with the team.
  • Explore areas for personal development and aid in the continuing development of the business as required.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED?

We know you will have a great skillset and broad experience, but we think to thrive in this role you would need;

  • BSc degree or higher in an environmental subject (Geology, Geography, Environmental Science)
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a particular focus on report writing.
  • Experience with interpreting geological or environmental data.
  • A good understanding of geological or environmental principles and eagerness to improve professionally.
  • Display a proficiency with GIS, geospatial data analysis or programming skills.
  • A customer focused mindset, able to communicate effectively with people of varying technical ability
  • Fantastic attention to detail and great organizational skills.
