About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a leading UK line marking and surface coating company.

This is a key role to support the Managing Director in overseeing the delivery of the company objectives. Accountable to the Board for reporting progress and development across the organisation.

As Operations Director, you will be responsible for managing the current business portfolio whilst driving for organic growth.

You will provide leadership, direction, vision and strategy for Senior Managers and staff across the following areas: Customer Service, Operational Management, Health & Safety,

Client Liaison, Business Management and Financial and Commercial control to achieve targets.

About you:

Essential criteria:

  • You will have significant experience in a Senior Leadership role and demonstrable evidence of working with high volumes with excellent project management skills.
  • You will have a track record and experience of reporting to a Board and the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will be an Innovative leader and a strong decision maker who can make key decisions under pressure, anticipate potential issues or problems, and provide robust and objective solutions.
  • Have a high degree of commercial acumen, you will understand the issues and challenges that the business faces.
  • You will have 2 years’ experience in an Operations Director role or 5 years’ experience in an Operations or Contracts Management role.

Desirable criteria:

  • Previous experience in the same sector or Roads Industry.
  • Previous experience running P&L consisting of multiple clients/stakeholders.

Location: Nottinghamshire. Hybrid working will be considered for NI based candidates.
