Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Customise and improve existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client needs
- Ensure websites are responsive and perform well across various devices and browsers
- Implement precise, user-friendly front-end designs
- Utilise HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies to enhance website interactivity
- Work closely with our design and content teams to seamlessly integrate design elements and content into WordPress websites
- Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones
Requirements
Must-have:
- Minimum of 1 year of Front-end Development experience
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Basic knowledge of WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development
- Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile optimisation
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to stay updated with industry trends and technologies
Preferred but not essential:
- Exposure to e-commerce platforms and integrations
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
