Social Trading Alliance is seeking a talented and driven Junior Financial Trader with a strong interest in algorithmic trading to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Financial Trader, you will be an integral part of our algorithmic trading desk, supporting the development, implementation, and optimization of trading strategies.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the algorithmic trading team to design, develop, and implement trading strategies based on quantitative analysis, statistical models, and machine learning techniques.
Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, patterns, and trading opportunities.
Assist in backtesting trading strategies and analyzing performance metrics to optimize and improve the strategies.
Monitor live trading systems and algorithm performance, making real-time adjustments when necessary.
Work closely with our data science team to enhance trading models and develop innovative trading strategies.
Stay updated with the latest financial market developments and industry trends.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of trading infrastructure and tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Strong understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, and trading instruments.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for quantitative analysis and data manipulation.
Knowledge of algorithmic trading concepts, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Previous experience or internships in algorithmic trading or related financial roles (preferred but not mandatory).
