Description

Reporting to the Energy Analytics Manager you will be responsible for monitoring energy consumption data for our customers. The role will require you to provide the clients with insights as to their consumption patterns, identify alerts using analytical and modelling tools that provide them with deeply insightful data along with recommendations as to how this can be improved or possible causes.
The role will require the Junior Energy Analyst to be passionate about the energy sector and to further develop their data analysis capabilities to help support our growing portfolio of impressive household name clients.
The role will require you to interact with customers as you explore their data with them and identify ways in which they can both save money and the planet! You’ll work closely with the energy solutions team who will be able to provide physical solutions to consumption issues and equally you’ll work with the connected buildings team to ensure that you’re getting all the data you need to be successful.

  • Liaising with the Connected Buildings team to make sure the data available on the online energy management platform is correct and ready to use.
  • Providing the customers with support of the online energy management platform used.
  • Utilising aggregated costumer data to find innovative solutions to complex consumption problems and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Providing the customers with a summary report of all the alerts raised throughout the month and potential savings/cost avoidances.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders including clients, suppliers and other teams.
  • Managing lower tier client’s consumption queries and providing ad hoc analysis on consumption.

What does good look like?

Essential
  • Considering how the data will impact the finances and utilities of the customer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for the energy sector, with an ability to focus this passion in a way to challenge and drive change in a high growth environment.

  • A propensity for action, comfort with change and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • IT literate in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desirable
  • Successful experience in utilities.
