This is a dual role employment opportunity.
Due to rapid company expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented person to join our team in a multi-role position. We are looking for a Junior Ecommerce Executive/Customer Service Representative to join us. The role will be primarily working with the Ecommerce team, but our ideal candidate will be able to switch to customer service for lunch breaks, holidays and during busy periods.
Our ideal candidate must be fluent in English, be extremely reliable, conscientious, and diligent and above all, must be an excellent communicator. A knowledge of B2C within an Ecommerce environment and experience with marketplace platforms, CRM systems and SaaS is preferable but not essential. They must show a natural aptitude for enhancing the customer journey and have a can-do attitude. Attitude is much more important to us than qualifications, so this role will suit a naturally motivated, computer literate self-starter who takes a huge amount of pride in their work.
The role is remote based, so a reliable internet connection and home office is essential.
There may be an opportunity for flexitime, so could suit a working parent.
Junior Ecommerce Executive Role:
This role requires a person who can create product descriptions and add products to our ecommerce platform.
- A natural flair for creating content is an absolute must. We don’t need novel writers, but we need someone who can write SEO content to a high standard.
- Undertake basic image editing.
- Has experience with ecommerce platforms (BigCommerce but experience with other platforms is acceptable)
- Has experience with a variety of SaaS platforms (Stock Management in particular)
- Working within Microsoft Office and Google Drive programmes.
- A knowledge of B2C within an Ecommerce environment is preferable but not essential.
- Must be an excellent communicator.
Customer Service Representative Role:
The role requires a person who can communicate clearly to customers on the telephone, live chat and via email, covering lunch breaks (1 hour per day), holidays and assisting the customer service team during busier periods.
- Enhancing the customer journey from start to finish.
- Answering the telephone to customers, responding to live chat requests and replying to emails.
- Experience of working on CRM systems is essential.
- Working within Microsoft Office and Google Drive programmes.
- Arranging collections, returns with DPD.
- Placing and processing orders directly with suppliers.
- Liaising with our Ecommerce Team and warehouse team.
- Processing returned items.
- Processing refunds.
- Occasional weekend work during very busy periods (This will be discussed with around 1 month's notice)
